Description:

You must be a registered Occupational Therapist, be registered with HCPC and must have experience and knowledge of working with those living with dementia in a health or social care setting. You should have sound understanding of the relationship between physical health and its impact on mental health. You’ll have excellent understanding of the Mental Capacity Act including DoLS. Thorough risk assessment skills and excellent communication skills are imperative to the role as is the confidence to challenge and raise quality concerns if required.
