JOB DESCRIPTION

Develops profitable new business account relationships and increased profitability from existing accounts or agent bank relationships within the assigned territory. Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. Makes sales presentations to existing and prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization’s products and services to meet their needs. Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Nine to 11 years of financial sales experience
  • Ability to travel (local, regional, national)

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong knowledge of working capital card payables solutions
  • Well-developed sales and new business development skills
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial payment products
  • Advanced knowledge of CPS products, services, operations, policies and procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations
  • Strong marketing and negotiating skills, emphasizing the development of sales strategies and goals
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service/relation skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
