YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5-7 years industry experience in a creative role
  • Proven experience in a creative design leadership role.
  • Proficiency and expertise in design software and tools, including FIGMA, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of branding and marketing principles.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Analytical thinker with a strong affinity for guidelines and embedding processes into ways of working and communicating these with the broader teams
  • Strong understanding of print and digital design.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Some experience in animation/motion graphics creation
  • Ability to concept and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, be proactive and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Experience working on several campaigns at once, under pressure and to at times tight deadlines
  • Excellent planning, organisation, time management skills and high standard of attention to detail

Responsibilities:

There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you might be working on, day-to-day;

  • Conceptualise, develop and deliver integrated campaigns to meet marketing and communication objectives across multiple marketing channels.
  • Produce compelling commercially focused campaigns, taking a strategic approach to creative briefs.
  • Work closely with Creative Director to evolve and enhance the creative by adopting and adapting to new technologies and best practice principles to ensure member engagement with Flybuys communications.
  • Lead a team of on shore and off shore designers to develop and design creative assets to brand guidelines and design systems
  • Track, review and manage all artwork creation to ensure high-quality design and communication
  • Liaise and work closely with Creative Production & Traffic Manager to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Work with Creative Director to develop and deploy Studio Design and update/maintain design libraries used by Studio to ensure efficiencies across teams.
  • Manage and inspire a team of designers, illustrators, and multimedia artists, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of Flybuys’ visual brand identity, ensuring alignment with our core values and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement creative design strategies that support marketing campaigns and brand positioning.
  • Work back with the Creative Production and Traffic Manager to plan and manage multiple jobs simultaneously, ensuring effective communication and coordination between onshore and offshore teams and timely delivery of projects.
  • Set and uphold high standards of design excellence, providing guidance and feedback to the creative team.
  • Collaborate with marketing, UX/ UI, CX, product development, and other departments to ensure design solutions meet business goals.
  • Manage relationships with Commercial Managers and Partners as needed.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and design tools to maintain a cutting-edge creative environment
