Creative Designer (Temporary Assignment)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences, and to contribute to the nation’s development of its human resource.
At Science Centre Board, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We’re looking for a talented creative designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate should have expert knowledge in contemporary design software and demonstrate expertise in all stages of the design process, from conceptualisation to final deliverables. Working collaboratively with various teams within the attractions group, the creative designer must adeptly translate verbal or written concepts into compelling designs. Additionally, the successful candidate should exhibit a comprehensive grasp of branding and marketing, with the ability to discern suitable styles and layouts for each project.

REQUIREMENTS

• A tertiary/professional qualification in graphic or multimedia design, coupled with exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• At least 4 -6 years of relevant experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in photography and proficiency with photo-editing software
