A Creative Director is responsible for managing and conceptualizing the creative output, often including staff supervision and production. Their core responsibility is to determine the best way to represent an idea online and produce high-level concepts for design projects, across every digital platform.
A Creative Director requires knowledge of the latest technological trends, the ability to use metrics to shape digital strategy, and have the ability to craft unique online user experiences. The volume and speed of real-time content production requires a radically different mindset.
A creative director determines the creative vision of a brand or project and manifests that vision through digital, print and film installations. The job is to maintain a cohesive look and feel of a project—be it an advertising campaign, product line, video game or magazine—by ensuring the visuals, messaging and/or interactive and motion designs are exceptional.
Creative directors plan the layout and visuals for digital solutions, products and advertising. They create and maintain a vision for a company’s products and branding. They oversee a creative staff team that produces art and designs to support that vision.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

  • Lead creative design teams located across the APAC region for Newfold Digital
  • Manage the digital creative process from start to finish by supervising the creative team in the production of all marketing deliverables across multiple digital platforms
  • Benchmark and implement innovative solutions to optimize digital campaign performance
  • Monitor emerging digital trends, customers’ needs, operational statistics, and the competitive landscape to create insightful reports and adjust the digital approach accordingly
  • Generate ideas for enhancing creative implementation and digital strategy to foster a digital-first environment and inspire innovation within the creative team
  • Leverage social media analytics to produce more compelling brand messaging that drives lead generation and conversion
  • Collaborate with other internal teams on shaping the strategic digital direction for the company across all channels to achieve unity in messaging
  • Assist in the development of the yearly expense plan and budget allocations for the digital marketing department

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

  • 10+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or a senior position in a similar field
  • Superior leadership and mentorship skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar relevant and practice experience in Graphic Design
  • Strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities
  • Exceptional knowledge of digital design for web, UX, UI, front-end development, and design principles and tools, such as XD, Figma, or Sketch
  • Expert understanding of the creative process in marketing—packaging, branding, video, photography, UX copywriting, and digital art direction
  • Experience with creating and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong visual and conceptual design capabilities
  • Innovative and strategic thinker with a growth mindset
