Description:

Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year
Benefit Eligible: Yes, includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision) along with paid time off and a 401k with company match
Location: Remote within the US, open to candidates residing in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, ID, IL, LA, NC, NJ, NV, OH, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY

THE OPPORTUNITY

Paleovalley is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Creative Strategist to lead our video ad creation team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating compelling video ads for e-commerce brands and leading a team of video editors to execute their vision. This role requires the ability to generate new concepts, provide clear direction to editors, recruit and manage content creators, and work closely with copywriters to storyboard videos.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, with a focus on creating ads for Meta, YouTube, and Google.
  • Proven track record of developing successful ad campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and revenue.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team of video editors to produce high-quality ad assets, and experience working with copywriters to storyboard videos and ensure cohesive storytelling.
  • UGC content creation on TikTok or other social media platforms required.
  • Direct Response Marketing experience required.
  • A STRONG passion for advertising is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience creating UGC content for TikTok and other social media platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience with direct response marketing.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and lifestyle brands is a plus.

  • Develop creative concepts, hooks, and ideas for paid advertisements on Meta, YouTube, Google, and other relevant platforms.
  • Collaborate with media buyers to align ad creative with overall brand messaging and marketing objectives.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative and impactful ad concepts.
  • Oversee the production process, from ideation to execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality ad assets.
  • Manage a team of designers and other creative professionals to execute ad campaigns effectively.
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to a team of video editors to execute on creative vision and produce high-quality ad assets.
  • Collaborate with copywriters to storyboard videos and ensure cohesive storytelling across all ad creatives.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis and optimization of ad creative to maximize ROI and drive results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital advertising.
  • Recruit and work UGC creators, actors, freelancers, etc., to get all assets needed to produce top ad creative.
  • Act as the primary visionary in assembling all assets to create engaging video ads for platforms such as Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok platforms.
  • Produce over 100 new creatives to be tested by our paid media team, continuously iterating and optimizing based on performance metrics.
