TikTok LIVE team’s mission is to work hand-in-hand with creators & influencers, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe.
About the team
About The RoleTikTok LIVE is seeking a Creator Community Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for expanding our vibrant community of creators by spearheading initiatives for recruitment, community building, and event design. The ideal candidate will excel in creating and nurturing a dynamic managed creator community where creators can stay informed about TikTok’s latest news, campaigns, and product features, thereby enhancing the overall community atmosphere and accelerate their growth. The objective is to actively engage with the community, providing them with the resources and knowledge to thrive on our platform, and ultimately accelerate more creators to be qualified for 1:1 management in our creator growth program.

Responsibilities

  • Community Recruitment: Develop and implement strategies to recruit new members to the TikTok LIVE creator community and join community management discord channel.
  • Community Building: Foster a strong, engaged community through the creation of communication channels, forums, and groups that encourage interaction, collaboration, and sharing of best practices among creators.
  • Creator Coaching At Scale: Drive live growth tactics coaching through comms, videos and webinars, resulted in overall improvement of go live duration and monetization feature adoption
  • Campaign Design and Management: Plan and execute community events, workshops, and webinars that educate creators about TikTok LIVE features, campaigns, and opportunities, enhancing their engagement and contribution to the platform.
  • Community Atmosphere: Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and active community atmosphere that encourages participation, creativity, and mutual support among creators.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish mechanisms to gather feedback from the community, using insights to improve community support, content, and engagement strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and campaign planning skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering relationships with creators from diverse backgrounds.
  • Deep understanding of social media and digital content trends, especially within the live streaming ecosystem.
  • Analytical skills to assess community engagement and performance metrics, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas to engage and grow the community.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Community Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community management, social media management, or a related field, preferably with a focus on creator or public communities.
  • Proven track record of growing and managing vibrant online communities.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $169000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
