We are in search of a Credit Analyst I or Credit Analyst II to join our California Lending and Insurance team in Rocklin, California. This full-time position reports to the SVP, Regional Underwriting Officer and is accountable for conducting credit analysis including gathering, analyzing, and interpreting all types of financial and credit information.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Review credit packages for thoroughness and compliance with organization underwriting standards, loan serving plans, and financial statement requirements.
  • Spread financial information, including balance sheet, tax return, borrower or accountant-prepared statements.
  • Complete basic analysis, including credit write-ups.
  • Enter loan/customer information into loan origination systems, as needed.
  • Identify underwriting risks by incorporating information from multiple sources and articulate a concise recommendation.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, agribusiness, Accounting, Economics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suites, with solid skills in the use of spreadsheets, database applications, and word processing
  • Effective problem solving, negotiating and influencing skills

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Agricultural background
  • Basic understanding of credit practices, credit analysis, accounting and finance principles, risk analysis, credit principles, policies and procedures
  • Basic decision-making skills as well as strong interpersonal, communication, customer services and team skills
  • Ability to read, write and present general business information
