Description:

We are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Credit Analysis division and support our Commercial Loan Department in office and on-site. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing personal tax returns, financial statements, and assessing risk to determine credit quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in finance, accounting, or business; or a minimum of two years credit analyst experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience as described in the Key Responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency in reviewing personal tax returns and financial statements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze comprehensive credit data and financial information of potential borrowers to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
  • Completes thorough analysis of business and personal tax returns, financial statements, and risk to determine credit quality by using computer software specifically, Sageworks and like systems.
  • Monitor and review existing credit facilities to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Assist loan officers in the analysis of financial information from commercial, consumer and agricultural customers.
  • Prepare loan presentations, comment sheets and complete annual reviews containing commercial, consumer and agricultural financial information.
  • Periodically accompany loan officers on prospect calls and customer calls.
