Responsibilities:

  • Independently analyse the creditworthiness of corporate risks and evaluate complex financing structures within the field of structured commodity trade finance both in the context of single risk as well as portfolio transactions
  • Prepare internal credit applications, making informed recommendations and providing clients and internal stakeholders with reasoned explanations for decisions
  • Determine the risk appetite for (i) large single transactions involving multiple cedents, (ii) major individual risks, and (iii) main business sectors
  • Monitor existing (sub) portfolio; to identify significant risks at an early stage and initiate appropriate risk measures
  • Cooperate closely with CRRM and participate in client meeting on specific deals or due diligence purposes
  • Assist with the examination and development of strategic growth initiatives and new business opportunities
  • Support efforts to enhance existing tools, credit risk management systems and processes
