Credit Analyst I
Small Business Lending is a very dynamic space. We serve borrowing needs of businesses of various sizes from relatively small businesses owned by sole proprietors, to large corporations. This requires varying levels of sophistication in underwriting to ensure effective risk management with reasonable costs in proportion to loan size.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in financial statements, lending analysis, underwriting or loan review.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes complex personal and corporate loan portfolio financial statements for loan risk rating and monitoring purposes on a single loan and relationship basis. Responsible for reviewing risk factors such as contingent liabilities recurring cash flows.
  • Sets up tracking for and monitors the facility for covenant compliance, adequate collateral valuation, verification of structural soundness and identification of any credit weaknesses and reporting of any significant deterioration of borrowing relationship to department managers.
  • Performs $1-3MM Loan Interim Reviews and prepares Loan Packages for Annual Reviews.
  • Financial spreads and credit packages created to be routinely of high quality, timely within deadlines, and require minimal revision by underwriters.
  • Professionally manages and maintains satisfactory communication with borrowers and co-workers.
  • Trains for and responsible for mastering all advanced credit concepts.
  • Supports other credit-related activities and assists in divisional projects to achieve divisional goals.
