The Credit Analyst III is responsible for working with the Credit Department and Sales Department to evaluate and underwrite large dollar transactions. This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing customer credit information, making credit decisions within assigned credit authority, and consistent with the organization’s vision, core values, and team guidelines.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Underwriting
  • Investigate, evaluate and underwrite larger dollar transactions in accordance with credit policies and guidelines, program structure, and delegated credit authority. Review tax returns, financial statements, commercial and consumer credit reports and other sources to evaluate the customers’ credit capacity. Communicate directly with the Business Development Managers and customers during the underwriting process. Perform credit review, complete credit narrative and present to Credit Committee and Board of Directors, when required. Assist with evaluating small-ticket transactions as needed
  • Relationship Maintenance
  • Manage and continue to grow strong relationships with vendors, customers and business partners, and internal departments to continue to drive business results and create a superior customer experience. Foster a close working relationship with departments throughout the organization to identify appropriate risk tolerance within new or existing business opportunities.
  • Assist with managing the annual review process on existing relationships. Work with the small ticket team to facility the completion of limited Annual Reviews on existing customer relationships.
  • Credit Committee / BOD
  • Assist the Credit Committee with related reporting and administrative needs. Compile and present credit related reports and memorandums.
  • Exception Resolution
  • Research in resolving technical exceptions to credit policy determined by both internal and external parties.
  • Special Projects
  • Assist with special projects. Special projects will vary based on workload, organizational priorities, and identified initiatives.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business-related field required with a minimum of five years experience in leasing and financing preferred.
