Description:

The team provides support of transactions including Leveraged Buyouts, Mergers, Acquisitions, and other significant corporate events, and invests in Securitisation and Corporate Bonds.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role, have a strong analytical mindset and an interest in Credit, Investments and Financial Markets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial / credit analysis, with experience in leverage finance, structured finance, corporate or property lending an advantage, but not essential
  • Strong numerical reasoning and report writing skills

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate in the end-to-end execution of transaction proposals, encompassing transaction origination alongside senior team members, conducting investment analysis, navigating the internal investment approval process, and facilitating investment execution.
  • Conduct comprehensive fundamental analysis on potential opportunities, integrating both qualitative and quantitative due diligence, alongside appropriate financial analysis and stress testing.
  • Aid in preparing detailed credit applications to be presented to the Credit Committee, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of existing transactions in the S&I portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with objectives.
  • Actively participate in meetings and conference calls with borrowers and market participants to facilitate initial due diligence and ongoing investment monitoring.
  • Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with internal business partners and external market participants, fostering collaboration and mutual trust.
  • Support junior team members with their growth and development within the organisation.
  • Engage in proactive portfolio monitoring, conducting timely reviews of financial and performance reports, and staying updated of market trends and research that may impact the portfolio’s performance.
