THE OPPORTUNITY

Our New Business team is looking for a Credit and Settlements Analyst to manage the verification and settlement of Retail Motor Vehicle applications within BMW Financial Services. This role is responsible for providing premium support for introducers on process applications, credit policy and process and workshopping finance applications pre-submission.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Mulgrave (south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne). Once fully trained you will work on a Tuesday to Saturday rotating roster. As this role also supports the NZ market, your hours of work will vary with earlier start times as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • VCE completion or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Tertiary qualifications (in Commerce/Business) is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of General Banking or Finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of contractual agreements and legislative guidelines (NCCP, AML/CTF, Privacy Act).
  • Previous automotive finance industry experience preferred.
  • Settlement, Customer Relations or document management experience.
  • Excellent relationship building and people skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Credit verification of retail consumer and commercial applications.
  • Contributing to the achievement of Settlements AU/NZ targets, customer and dealer satisfaction.
  • Providing and maintaining sound market knowledge with regard to the economic climate within AU/NZ by fostering relationships with Business Managers and across the business.
  • Aligning operational processes within the New Business guideline, Risk guideline and Compliance guidelines.
  • Identifying improvement potentials and implementing solutions.
  • Ensuring the highest level of data quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain and improve credit quality, partner and customer relationships
