Credit Control and Collections Officer

JOB SCOPE:

• Monitor loan portfolio quality, manage delinquent accounts and support all credit control activities
• Responsible for setting up of customer repayment modes & collection process post loan disbursements
• Perform collections via various modes such as GIRO deductions, fund transfers or cheque
• Ensure funds are collected from customer in an accurate and timely manner including monitoring loan repayments for appropriate actions
• Meet customers with delinquent accounts and make attempts to secure repayment, including exploring options like repossession, refinancing or restructuring.
• Work with external agencies/parties, i.e. litigation lawyer, conveyancing lawyer, property agents, renovation firms to facilitate property repossession, refurbishment for sale purposes to recover monies owed.
• Prepare case file pre-screening documents for credit approval
• Prepare KYC documents for clients’ signature
• Coordinate with lawyers for legal paperwork for every loan case
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years experience in financing industry
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level/ LCCI or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Office like Excel
• Independent, meticulous and task driven
