    Mediq UK are a supplier of healthcare consumables, healthcare equipment, cleaning, and hygiene products, as well as healthcare devices to hospitals, care homes, and other facilities serving the healthcare sector in the UK. We are recruiting for a Credit Control Manager to join our Finance team based in Enfield.
    As a Credit Control Manager you will be reporting into the Finance Director, the Credit Control Manager will be responsible for managing a team of four credit controllers and two cashbook accounts assistants, as well as managing all aspects of sales ledger and credit control duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to make key decisions
  • Review and analyse customer credit applications
  • Manage daily processes across department, overseeing department activity
  • Evaluate and set credit limits and terms for customers based on credit history and financial stability in accordance with our policies
  • Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions and setting up of payment plans
  • Review and report on aged debtors and other performance to Senior Management
  • Preparation of statement of claims for administrators
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
  • Ad hoc admin duties
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment issues
  • Supporting team and other departments with complex query resolutions
  • Managing and motivating the team to achieve their performance targets and potential
