Reporting to the Oceania Accounts Manager and a part of a team of 3 in Credit Control (AR), the Credit Controller is a vital member of our Accounts team with a variety of credit-related responsibilities and general administrative duties that drive our company’s productivity and success.

You’ll play a pivotal role in (but are not limited to):

  • Reviewing and opening of new credit account applications.
  • Telephone / email collection and reconciliation of overdue accounts.
  • Respond to requests for information from both internal and external customers.
  • Liaising with Individual stakeholders and Managers as required regarding outstanding accounts.

We’re looking for a friendly team player who possess some if not all of the below:

Skills and competencies:

  • Good working knowledge of excel and word.
  • SAP accounting software is desirable.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting, credit control and trade credit principles.
  • Proven problem-solving ability.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to plan and prioritise your work.
  • An ability to work autonomously and a member of a team in a high-volume account’s environment.
  • A focus on customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build effective relationships within the business as well as with customers.

Experience:

  • 3 -4 Years previous experience in Accounts Receivable.
  • SAP accounting software is desirable.
  • Previous work in a large multinational matrix organisation

Qualifications, licenses, certifications:

  • HSC and Cert IV in accounting are desirable.
