As we continue to grow progressively, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable full-time Credit Manager, Personal Banking supporting our London Administration office.
The Credit Manager, Personal Banking plays a key role in providing direction and leadership of the Personal Credit underwriting process. This enables Owner- facing Coaches the framework to excel in the personal lending area and meet the lending needs of Owners, while ensuring that overall portfolio risk is within established risk appetite allowing for tolerances.
The Credit Manager, Personal banking will manage and supervise the Personal Credit team and other Credit personnel to ensure smooth efficient delivery of Personal credit products with a primary focus on loan adjudication. Additionally, the incumbent will manage and oversee the personal loan portfolio through development and application of loan policy, procedures and approval ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
The Epic Human we are looking for will;
Lead and supervise a team of credit adjudicators, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the credit adjudication team.
Assesses overall risk of personal credit by reviewing, analyzing and decisioning credit applications that are outside the approval authority of Individual Team Members Lending Authority .
Provide support, coaching and guidance to Personal Credit Adjudication team and Branch lending staff on an ad hoc basis.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders including segment leadership, Community Managers, and the lending team that fosters ongoing clarification and improvement of credit delivery.
Lead adjustments to policy, procedure and product that enhances credit delivery while ensuring alignment with risk appetite .
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement credit strategies that support the credit union’s growth objectives and strategy.
Working closely with Agile Squads and Personal segment leadership, provide insights and recommendations on product development, and credit policy changes.
Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for portfolio growth, risk mitigation, and process enhancements.
Present findings and recommendations to VP Credit, CRO, Segment leadership as needed.
Responsible for strategic relationship with Nationwide Appraisal Services (NAS), MPAC, Teranet - Purview as it relates to appraisal services.

Do you have 7-9 years’ of experience within financial service, along with e xpert knowledge in complex personal lending, underwriting and adjudication in all aspects of personal lending?
Are you proficient in using credit scoring models, financial analysis tools, and loan origination systems?
