SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a similar field.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of commodity markets and transactional analysis is preferred.
  • Strong communication abilities coupled with a high level of motivation.
  • Possesses a constructive mindset, unafraid to voice opinions or seek clarification.
  • Adaptable and responsive, readily accommodating requests.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Initiates tasks independently, demonstrating accountability and proactive behaviour.
  • Meticulous organisational capabilities combined with a keen eye for detail.
  • Resilient under pressure and adept at managing time constraints.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly within a Windows environment; general IT affinity is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel and flexible work arrangements are prerequisites.
  • British citizenship or possession of a valid UK work permit.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the group's credit risk limits and utilisation on a daily basis, taking action and following up on any breaches with the front office.
  • Conduct thorough transaction and process analyses to ensure compliance with the Group's risk control standards.
  • Compile credit files for the Group Credit Committee, including comprehensive financial assessments of counterparties for on-boarding, amendments/requests, and reviews.
  • Serve as secretary in the Group Credit Committee, ensuring timely follow-up on decisions made and communication with Middle Office / Master Data.
  • Generate periodic reports detailing the Group's credit risk portfolio and exposure.
  • Contribute to process and IT enhancements aimed at strengthening the risk management control framework.
  • Assist Group Risk Management in addressing other pertinent risk areas and participating in relevant projects.
