JOB DESCRIPTION
Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk.
Risk is defined as the potential or probability of loss, or some other undesirable outcome, resulting from an action, activity or inaction on the part of an institution, individual or market.
As a Credit Risk Portfolio Reporting & Analytics – Associate in the Risk Management team, you will work directly with Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Auto Loan, Card and Commerce Services, Chase Wealth Management and Home Lending to minimize, monitor and control the probability of risk events and mitigate the impact of risk events that do occur. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Candidate should have experience as a risk specialist in the retail financial services industry.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree level education.
- Proven ability and expertise with full suite of Microsoft packages Tableau, SQL / Python Programming / VBA.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within teams inclusively of others across a diverse level of seniority, based in different locations and functions.
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets with a sense of direct ownership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with an ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and execute to completion.
- Well versed in developing new ideas and process re-engineering.

Responsibilities:
- Support the build our portfolio reporting framework for retail credit products.
- Be responsible for the production and substantiation of a varied range of monthly and quarterly credit risk reports.
- Interact with key functional stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, identify data sources, working with end-users and our leadership team, to deliver reporting objectives.
- Work with technology partners in the preparation of data dashboards and qualitative analysis to summarise and present key risks in a succinct manner
- Contribute to the analysis and preparation of reports detailing inherent risks in the ICB credit risk portfolio for both internal and external use.
- Run the monthly metrics and KPI reporting to track profile and performance on our retail credit portfolio, identify and evaluate trend variances.
- Collaborate with risk reporting, risk management, finance and technology teams across locations, as required.
- Prepare presentations to senior management team and Chief Risk Officer to articulate key risks and trends.
- Perform independent review of the reports prior to distribution, ensuring reasonableness and integrity of risk information.
- Produce enhancements to underlying report production processes, where required.
- Engage with teams across the broader risk organisation to understand current reporting objectives and deliverables.
