Description:

The Crew Headcount Planner (known as, Crew Establishment Planning Officer) is an integral part of the Establishment team, dedicated to ensuring optimal crew levels across various bases and ranks to meet the annual program requirements. This cross-functional role supports the planning and management of the crew establishment plan. The primary purpose of this position is to maintain safe, compliant, and cost-efficient operations by ensuring the Crew Planning function has the necessary crew resources.
The Crew Establishment Planning Officer supports in delivering the annual crew headcount budget. They are responsible for tracking and reporting actual FTE data against the budget plan, identifying deviations such as shortages or surpluses, and developing action plans in coordination with recruitment and training teams.
In this role, you will tracking and reporting on various crew assumptions, including maternity, part-time status, long-term sick leave, social leave, crew off roster, union activity, management off roster, and secondments. In collaboration with the Senior Crew Establishment Officer, you will recommend roster patterns that balance crew needs with the operational and commercial requirements of the business.

Responsibilities:

The role also involves undertaking FTL training and maintaining proficiency in Roster and Roster Delivery tasks, as well as supporting the Crew Planning department with roster production and other crew supply chain needs. Ideally, you will have at least two years of operational experience in crew scheduling or planning, or a similar industry, with a solid understanding of EASA FTL regulations and complex crew collective agreements (CLA).
You will demonstrate strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Forms and Excel, and be comfortable with detailed analysis of crew and roster-related data. Outstanding communication skills are essential, with the ability to present complex planning information clearly and concisely.
