Description:
Responsibilities
- Crew sourcing, travel, certification, training etc
- Participate in company DOC audit for evidencing compliance to crewing related activities (compliance to MLC, Flag State regulations, industry guidelines)
- Stay abreast on current and upcoming maritime regulations, industry standards and best practices related to crewing, seafarer welfare and labour regulations
- Monitoring, reporting and executing all crew related matters for fleet of owned, operated and managed vessels.
- Maintaining vessel crew change schedule and execution of plans.
- Verification and Filing of crew documentation in compliance with STCW requirements / qualifications, handling of visas and flag state certificates and endorsements.
- Ensure good record keeping of all documents and records on central location for ease of accessibility and retrieval.
- Coordination with crews and/or agents for arranging travel, visas, logistics, provisions etc for on-off signing crew.
- Updated with training requirements for crews on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee / co-ordinate day-to-day issues for the crews.
- Co-ordinate crew appraisals with technical and operations teams and file for record keeping.
- MPA / Singapore Flag / Other Flags updating of crew information for COE / GOC, application of WP quota etc.
- Insurance coverage for all cews
- Manage all MOM, ICA and IRAS matters pertaining to crews
- Any other related tasks as assigned by the manager.
