QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime/Nautical studies, Human Resources or a related field and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR in lieu of degree, Diploma in Maritime/Nautical studies, Human Resources or a related field with more than 7 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in crew management within the maritime industry
Experience in offshore support vessels (OSV) would be a plus.
Strong knowledge of relevant maritime regulations and industry standards
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and crew management software
Understanding of crew welfare and well-being considerations
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Crewing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment, selection, placement, and scheduling of seafaring personnel onboard our vessels. Your day-to-day tasks will include maintaining crewing documentation, coordinating crew changes, managing crew certifications, and implementing crew training and development programs. You will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Contribute to the development of the company’s strategy, and work towards the company vision, goals, and work in accordance the company values.
Contribute actively to a positive communication between everyone in the company and its international divisions for all Crewing, Agency and Maritime Union focused issues.
Conduct regular vessel visits to ensure a strong safety performance culture (Zero LTI) discuss and review and propose changes for improvement to meet the established ISM standards and requirements for the company.
Support QHSE with maintaining and auditing manning requirements.
Monitor all crewing expenses and effect actions, when necessary.
Liaise with local/ oversea agencies and authorities in regards of operational and crewing matters.
Manage the APAC vessels daily and liaising with Accounts, Purchasing, Technical and other relevant departments on crewing requirements.
Monitor and follow-up crewing related action items from master’s under APAC region’s control.
Respond, prioritize and action as appropriate urgent issues, phone calls and emails from the vessels and charterers.
Liaise and resolve problems with internal and external contacts on a variety of matters on crewing matters.
Respond to ad-hoc queries and requests from client, government contacts and TDW group.
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Attend to crews’ injuries/ illness immediately and follow up.
Communicate with Next Of Kin on crew personnel issues when required.
Initiate and coordinate the development of Officers’ as per personnel evaluation report (PEV) recommendations.
Create progression plans for crews to ensure we identify talents and retain for the maintaining and improving APAC Agencies and Crewing Officers on crew performance crewing standard.
