Information Services Division (ISD) is the primary provider of IT services to UCL. We support and enhance learning, teaching, research and administrative processes by providing information- and technology-related services to over 50,000 staff and students of UCL and associated institutions.
Our ambition is to be the leading IT services group in the HE sector and we are growing our team’s capability in experience/UX, agile development, security, cloud, service management and partnering. We are modernising our technology foundations, digitising the processes of the university to transform experience for students and staff, and partnering across the university to drive differentiation in UCL education and research.
Portfolio and Product Delivery manage the delivery of technology led change, partnering with colleagues across UCL. We collaborate as cross functional agile teams and have core capabilities in experience, development & test, analysis and agile delivery management.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Ability to develop enterprise business automation solutions using the Dynamics 365 / PowerApps / Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Possesses skill to design responsive web applications compatible to multi device formats.
  • Ability to develop application with various data services or REST APIs.
  • Possesses basic understanding in one or two programming languages (Eg. Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS , PHP etc), tools and/or technology environments, with the ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly.
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of the applications and technical architectures related to their area(s).
  • Ensure the application development team follows governance set coding and design standards.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • A fantastic opportunity to join UCL’s Information Services Division (ISD) as a Dynamics CRM Developer, to deliver excellent solutions whilst continually evolving and progressing at this globally recognised leading university.
  • Deliver innovative Dynamics 365 CE & Power Automate solutions through all stages of the development lifecycle, from analysis to design, development, testing, training, implementation, and service transition.
  • Leveraging your knowledge of the entire Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement suite, including Dynamics 365 for Sales, Dynamics 365 for Customer Service and Dynamics 365 for Marketing
  • Configuration and customisation of Dynamics 365 and its associated components using plugins, custom workflow assemblies and JavaScript, as well as extended Azure/Office 365 functionality.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and then develop a technical design to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate as a member of the development team with business analysts, functional consultants, solution architects and other IT professionals to implement Dynamics 365 & Power Platform solutions.
