In this position, you will have a significant impact on our commercial set-up all the way from requirements, implementation, change management and training until the operational phase where you’ll be the conductor of our CRM & digital ecosystem.
As our new CRM Product Owner, you will join the Hempel adventure, in a dedicated Digital Commercial Excellence team within our Global Commercial Excellence department.
We are looking for a person with a commercially and data minded profile with the necessary agility to work across both the business and technical dimensions of the role.
This is an ideal opportunity for a person to work in a global role with key stakeholders across all levels and across all parts of the business to really impact commercial practices.
In this position you will be working with CRM (Microsoft D365) from the implementation to the operational phase. You will ensure we are getting a good return on our investment by prioritizing the product backlog and communicating the highest-value work.
You will be instrumental in structuring, aligning and standardizing our Sales & Commercial digital operations and systems in order to deliver our growth strategy.
As our CRM Product Owner you will challenge the status quo and ensure global alignment and logic of our systems. You will be a critical fundamental stakeholder of our Commercial Excellence transformation across our segments. Together with your colleagues you will need to challenge and support the capability and development of our tools, especially CRM and other commercial digital systems such as PIM, ecommerce etc..
Being a CRM Dynamics 365 expert is a plus. Being a CRM expert is a must.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Drive Product Roadmap: Lead the strategic development and execution of our CRM platforms, collaborating closely with our IT department and Scrum Team to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify key stakeholder needs and use cases, prioritizing them according to our roadmap and overarching company vision.
  • Roadmap Communication: Effectively communicate the product roadmap to the Scrum Master, ensuring accurate costing, timing, and alignment with delivery expectations.
  • Scrum Leadership: Take charge of Scrum Ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely delivery of features.
  • Feature Development: Continuously enhance existing feature sets, as well as plan and deliver new features, maintaining a high standard of quality and adherence to deadlines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a primary liaison between the CRM team, business units, and IT department, facilitating clear communication and alignment of objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • CRM Proficiency: Strong understanding of CRM solutions, particularly Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Agile Aptitude: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, ideally certified as a Product Owner.
  • Business Acumen: 5-7 years of experience in Sales & Marketing disciplines, with a keen understanding of CRM processes.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in project management, emphasizing attention to detail and execution.
  • Language: Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
