Description:
The Duperow Co-operative Association is hiring a Full Time Crop Inputs Sales Assistant at our Agro center located in Biggar, Saskatchewan.
WHO YOU ARE:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
- Hold a minimum of Grade 12 Education, Degree in Agriculture related field considered an asset
- 1-3 years of progressive and successful retail and/or customer service experience
- Background in farm machinery and equipment operation and maintenance is considered an asset
- Must be capable of lifting up to 25kg repetitively
- Must have valid class 5 drivers license, 3A or 1A not necessary but considered an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting and supporting the Crop inputs and Agro department operations in all areas. This position requires a strong customer service skillset, maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures and standards
- adherence to asset protection, safe working conditions, Co-op brand/image standards, and product regulatory requirements.
- Executes sales and marketing strategies, while actively supporting and contributing to community support initiatives and meeting Crop inputs operating budget requirements.
- Perform general and ongoing maintenance and housekeeping of Co-op facilities and properties.
- Responds to a variety of routine and non-routine customer inquiries, gauges customer needs and service satisfaction levels, and ensures issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Willingness and ability to learn and advance knowledge in agronomy and retail sales, assisting the Crop inputs manager with Agronomic activities and seasonal operation of a certified seed treatment plan.
