Who We Need:
As a Cross-Border Payments Product Analyst for Brightwell, you will manage our platform’s full network capabilities in countries, currencies, payment methods, and costs across multiple network partners. You will work to develop a deep understanding of the specifics of sending money to key regions such as LATAM, EUR, and APAC. You will partner closely with internal product, operations, sales, and compliance teams as a subject matter expert on the network capabilities, costs, and transaction requirements. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess and strategic thinking to manage corridor performance data and costs, identify potential network expansions, and troubleshoot payment performance issues with partners as they arise.
**This position can be remote, but candidates local to the Atlanta, GA area are preferred. Eligible states of residence for remote employees: AL, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MD, ME, NC, PA, TX, VA, WI

What You’ll Do:

  • Master the intricacies of Brightwell’s platform’s capabilities in sending money globally, including compliance and regulatory requirements for different markets, user experiences and client needs.
  • Analyze and manage corridor performance data to make informed recommendations on network enhancements and new corridor activations.
  • Identify and resolve transactional issues in collaboration with the product and operations teams and escalate concerns with network partners as necessary.
  • Provide critical network insights and data analysis to support internal teams, sales prospects, and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including presenting data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Work closely to manage existing network partners and help source new network partners to optimize Brightwell’s capabilities.
  • Take on other tasks and projects, as assigned.

As a Cross-Border Payments Product Analyst, you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in the payments industry, cross-border payments experience highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (confidence with V and XLookup and pivot tables at a minimum). Experience with SQL is a huge plus!
  • Solid project management skills, and willingness to jump into new projects and initiatives
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future needs and formulate proactive strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in an accessible format.
  • Proactive and fast-learning work style, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a client-oriented approach.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with APIs and their integration in payment systems.
  • Experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating effective interpersonal skills.
