Crownwood Club is the vision of Sweden’s greatest male golfer of all time, Henrik Stenson, Norwegian golf entrepreneur and investor Arild Karlsen, and golf course architect Christian Lundin. Their vision is to create a club where we are FOR golf, a membership club entirely according to the principles they want a club to embody. A place for fantastic golf, a place to hang out with good friends, and a place for unique encounters where golf is at the center.
Crownwood will not only be home to an 18-hole golf course, an 11-hole public course, and state-of-the-art training facilities. The waterfront property will also feature a clubhouse with a restaurant serving both golfers and the local community. Additionally, gym and spa facilities will be available to members. Coworking facilities and potentially accommodation are also planned adjacent to the facility. Crownwood Club is an “invitation-only” membership club. As a member, you have access to the entire facility, including gym, relaxation areas, restaurants, training areas, and, of course, golf.
Through a unique partnership with the Henrik Stenson Foundation, there will also be opportunities for youth and para-golfers to play on our 11-hole course. This course, by the way, is a pay-and-play course of the highest standard where anyone can have the opportunity to play.

To achieve our goal, we are now strengthening our team by hiring a COO (Director of Hospitality), who will play a crucial role in establishing our operational organization, further developing our vision, and enhancing our service and guest concept. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, strive for world-class service and experiences, and have the ability to inspire and lead our team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant education in hotel and tourism management, economics, or golf/PGA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leading role in the tourism industry or golf industry.
• Strong expertise and interest in tourism, experiences, food and beverage, and preferably events.
• Good understanding of financial management and budget planning.
• Good system understanding and experience in using digital tools.
• You communicate well in English, as well as one Scandinavian language.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish various service concepts and offerings for Crownwood Club.
• Improve the operation of all service concepts at the club, including food and beverage, events, membership, etc.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance member satisfaction and loyalty.
• Responsible for recruiting, training, managing, and developing existing and new teams.
• Budget and result responsibility as well as reporting to the board.
• Monitor market developments and ensure that Crownwood is always competitive.
