Description:

As the CSA Construction Manager your role will involve the coordination and delivery, with the primary focus and responsibility of overseeing Civil, Structural & Architectural elements within the DCD Central Construction Management Team. Working with the construction programme managers & General Contractors to ensure buildability and standards are adhered to across the EMEA portfolio. This responsibility will include but is not limited to interfaces with Expansion, Design & Construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for defining and implementing NTT GDC EMEAs structure and protocols for Civil, Structural & Architectural Construction of our Data Centre projects from Design through to execution
  • Accountable interface with the GDC EMEA Commercial and Regional Programme Management Teams, ensuring consistency, formality and structure in expectation an execution of deliverables for each respective project
  • Working with various stakeholders (not limited to the above), develop a best practice NTT Construction Playbook that maps each stage of the CSA elements that can be rolled out with our delivery partners (GCs and consultant teams)
  • Work with MEP & other Central Construction management SME’s to report on and prepare business readiness plans inc. tracking of snagging, documentation preparation, and construction closeout across EMEA
  • Collaborate with Design, Construction and Legal teams identify and report on NTTs planning for and compliance with regulatory approvals, including Building and Environmental permitting to enable building to be put into operation.
  • Provide business input to new and existing sites including risk reporting, mitigation and optioneering leadership where required. Provide timely, accurate and consistent reporting of all Construction activities across the prescribed projects / programmes
  • Work with the Logistics, Construction and Scheduling teams to coach external GC’s and delivery partners across the region
  • In conjunction with the safety team, ensure any local safety requirements are captured as part of the construction planning process
  • Clearly outline, define, and execute in conjunction with the site teams the Construction to Fitout/MEP handover, continuously seeking and implementing opportunities to learn and improve our end-to-end delivery.
