Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the well established Advance Practice CT Superintendent team in one of the largest CT departments in the North West.
The opportunity for an experienced CT Radiographer, ideally with post graduate qualifications and management experience, to further develop their leadership and management skills, alongside CT Brain reporting Advanced Practice in a fast paced, dynamic department.
A trainee CT Brain reporting position will be supported, if required in the appointed candidate.
You will support and deputise for the Principal CT Radiographer in delivering an efficient and comprehensive CT service to meet local and national performance target and objectives.
The post holder will ideally hold a post-graduate qualification in Advanced Practice CT Brain Reporting. If it is not yet achieved, the post-holder must be open to obtaining this qualification in order to contribute to the robust CT brain reporting service at Stockport, as part of the nationally recognised Hyper Acute Stroke Service.
The post holder must undertake all radiographic duties, including venous and rectal cannulation, with supervisory responsibilities as appropriate.
To work as a senior member of the Radiology team, attending management meetings, demonstrating exemplary clinical skills and professional conduct, and exhibiting leadership and calm organisational qualities.
