The Curator Margaret Olley Art Centre and Collections Manager position designs and implements the Gallery’s curatorial program for the Margaret Olley Art Centre through the management of the permanent collection and the development of exhibitions. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Gallery’s collection.
You’ll be part of a small, fast paced, creative, hardworking team that prides itself on offering the best possible service to our visitors and sector relationships.
The incumbent requires extensive experience in collection management, registration and curatorial responsibilities in an art gallery environment with the knowledge and skills to work independently with a particular responsibility for the Margaret Olley Art Centre home studio re-creation and exhibition program and the Nancy Fairfax Artist in Residence Studio program.
