Curatorial Assistant of Humanities (Provenance Researcher African Collections)

We are seeking to appoint a part time Curatorial Assistant of Humanities covering Anthropology/Living Cultures, Archaeology & Egyptology with a specific focus on provenance research of African collections. We encourage applicants with a strong interest in working through anthropological objects and ancestral remains from colonial contexts to apply. The curatorial assistant will also be involved in the day-to-day care and management of our humanities collections and supporting the wider aims of the museum. Other responsibilities include supporting documentation, access to the collection, supervising visitors, and volunteers, and facilitating public programmes. Preferably, applicants will have experience of working with African collections and engaging with African diasporans and originating communities.
