ABOUT THE ROLE

As Curragh North’s next Field Maintenance Leading Hand specialising in Excavators reporting to the Field Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

• Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
• Be highly motivated and committed to deliver quality results.
• Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance of the fleet in the field.
• Maintain fleets of Liebherr R9150/R9400/R996/R9600/R9800 Excavators, Komatsu PC360/PC490 Excavators, CAT 994K, Le Tourneau L-1850 Wheel Loaders.
• Follow work instructions and complete all paperwork to a high standard.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained ensuring a safe work environment.
• Have a good work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement, be able to work as an individual within the maintenance team, be able to think ahead & lead with initiative.
• Commitment to Risk Management and Safe Work.

To be successful in this role you are required to have:

• Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or relevant equivalent.
• Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
• Specialist Fitter with Excavators, Liebherr equipment experience is highly regarded.
• Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
• Demonstrated experience Cat, Komatsu and/or Liebherr HM
