JOB PURPOSETo provide a comprehensive administration and clerical service to the Care Community. A key requirement of thepost is to welcome and receive patients/relatives/carers and other visitors into the workplace, and maintain thepreparation and flow of patient data/information, ensuring that all data/information is maintained to the agreedquality standard and available at the right time and place. The post holder will also be expected to organise ownworkload in order to maintain an efficient and professional service.SERVICE DELIVERY1. Provide an efficient reception service, greeting patients, public and all visitors as they arrive, dealing withenquiries promptly, taking action as necessary and directing patients/relatives/carers accordingly,2.
Provide administrative support to the Care Community as requested, according to the requirements of theservice, where appropriate.3. Maintain systems and process to ensure that patient information/data is recorded accurately according to theagreed quality standard,4. Be able to use the required electronic systems for correspondence, clinic management.5. Maintain constructive relationships with others, within and across Care Community Team and wider divisionsand externally in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of services to patients
