Description:
Solugrowth is looking for Customer Care Consultants - Cold Calling
This is a 12 months contract position.
Must be able to travel to and from Parktown.
Responsibilities:
- Lead calling customers using a given phone directory to sell products
- Using scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
- Generate sales by lead calling in a fast-paced environment
- You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services
- You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs
- A successful Sales Agent must be friendly and persuasive
- The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints
- The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales targets and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
- Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how product or services meet their needs
- Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12
- 1-2 years proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs and telephone systems
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with customers
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
