Description:
RSPCA Victoria is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Customer Care Officer to join our team! In this rewarding role, you’ll play a vital role in providing a high level of service to the public and assisting with animal admissions, adoptions, and reclaims.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- A current tetanus vaccination (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including public holidays in a part time capacity.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist the public with enquiries, animal adoptions, surrenders, and reclaims during shelter hours – 7 days per week, in a part time capacity.
- Contribute to the daily care and welfare of animals entering and leaving our shelters.
- Educate and guide the public on responsible pet ownership and RSPCA Victoria’s services.
- Ensure all customer interactions and animal records are accurately documented.
- Work collaboratively with team members across all departments in a positive and inclusive environment.
