Job details:
As a demanding role that reaches all corners of the business your days will be spent dealing with customer and staff enquiries, telephone calls, hire purchase finance, product location, special orders, returns/ refunds, repairs, checkout sales, daily banking and all the other ’one off’ situations that arise on a day to day basis.
The Customer Care team deliver the first and last impression of our business and the person we seek for this area must have the ability to remain cool under pressure and be able to think on their feet. This is a permanent position (32-40hrs per week) that requires availability for at least one day in the weekend.
We are looking for a high energy individual who is a customer service superstar.

To be successful you must have:

  • a passion for providing excellent customer service;
  • be a detail minded self-starter
  • be able to multi-task, problem solve and have the ability to follow through and follow up situations in a timely manner
  • experience in conflict resolution and confidence to make decisions as required
  • have good peripheral vision to ensure queues are kept to a minimum and all customers attended to
  • experience working with a POS system and hire purchase portals such as GE Finance and Qcard (specific training given)
  • a can do attitude, action orientated person with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • computer savvy and organised
  • 2-3 years experience working on a front facing, customer services desk would be advantageous

Ideally you will be experienced in a similar front facing customer service desk position in a big box retail environment.
