Customer Consultant - Trade Store/Vendor Inventory

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a great all-rounder role! You will be part of a customer centric team supporting both the warehousing and retail operations. In the warehouse, you will be responsible for tasks across all areas from goods inward to dispatch. In the retail trade store, you will be face to face with customers answering queries and finalising orders. As part of our customer care approach, you will also be out servicing our major customers with stock replenishment.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based onsite at Blackwoods Albury.

SOME OF THE SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Previous experience in a customer centric workplace
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• High level attention to detail
• Good written, verbal communication and computer skills
• Willingness to learn and develop
• A full, open Australian driver’s license
• Valid forklift license desirable

• Visit major customers to order and replenish stock
• Identify new and slow moving product with major customers and refer to the Sales Team
• Support with finalising customer orders in the retail trade store
• Resolve customer queries satisfactorily (via phone, email or face to face)
• Conduct relevant administrative tasks (including stocktaking)
• Processing of goods across the warehouse from receiving to dispatch
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch in a timely and accurate manner
