JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Customer IAM Engineer plays a pivotal role within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function, situated within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. Working closely with stakeholders, the Senior Customer IAM Engineer ensures that the CIAM solution aligns with security standards, compliance regulations, and the core purpose of the Company, displaying a positive attitude towards people with disability.
Responsibilities:
- Help lead the implementation, and optimization of a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project, focusing on external and customer user registration, authentication, authorization, and user profile management.
- Work independently on competing and often urgent tasks to achieve agency CIAM outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective CIAM configurations.
- Configure and manage CIAM features, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices.
- Optimize the CIAM solution for scalability, performance, and user experience, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Prioritize building automations and integrations to enhance CIAM capabilities and streamline user interactions.
