Description:
CUSTOMER IT SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST
As a Customer IT Solutions Specialist, you’ll work with customers, operations and commercial teams to successfully deliver IT solutions that automate the flow of bookings, documents, shipment updates and more between DHL and its customers.
Role Overview:
- Define, plan and implement customer IT solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing Integrations.
- Maintain IT solutions documentation.
Key activities:
- Implement project management plans and processes for the successful execution of projects.
- Deliver projects according to required quality standards on time and budget.
- Work with stakeholders to complete Investment Requests for costly projects.
- Track project milestones and report progress and performance against the project plan.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to minimise delays to the project delivery.
- Respond to IT-related questions on customer RFIs/RFQs/tenders.
- Act as an escalation point for Integration issues.
- Work with stakeholders and customers to troubleshoot and resolve Integration issues.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience working with several technologies, including EDI and API.
- Experience working with technical file formats such as EDIFACT, XML, and JSON.
- The ability to work with and manage customers. Especially customer expectations.
- The ability to work with and manage internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of the DEPICT methodology (preferred).
- The ability to self-organise and prioritise tasks.
LOCATION: Chertsey
HOURS: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday
REPORTS TO: Head of Customer Integration and IT Solutions
