JOB DESCRIPTION:

As Customer Marketing Leader you are accountable for drive category growth with customers and accelerating Mars performance. You lead the customer growth agenda, internally and externally, and translate relevant external opportunities into needs, and own bringing our strategy to life through our key partner customers. You are the voice of the external market, in our business, and you build customer-centric, long-term growth plans and implement them at airport level, together with customers, sales and CM teams.
You will also work in cross-disciplined teams focused on specific snacking portfolio segments, and you will advise and collaborate with sales & marketing on the most effective activation strategies, centered in customer needs, with the key ambition to drive value and profit on triple win level.
Furthermore, you will be accountable for the follow through of priority strategy workstreams, You will drive vision and purpose internally and externally with customers, and will role model excellent execution at your own customers, inspiring it in others. In this job function you are part of the Category Leadership & Customer Marketing Team, as part of the specialized International Travel Retail (ITR) sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute category and customer growth plans in line with our growth strategy in Mars.
  • Creating new and build next-level, and future-back customer collaboration. Drive joint growth plans with a minimum 3y outlook on selected customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, Strategic Revenue, and segments to develop customer-centric strategies.
  • Accelerated implementation of our strategy, and ongoing strategic improvement plans
  • The voice of the category and market for your selected area and customers, able to articulate needs and requirements, and be the go-to person for you area.
  • The linking pin between Sales and Marketing on customer growth agendas, implementations guidelines, activities, strategy, promotion & pricing and distribution (Perfect Store).
    You drive and build a strong collaboration between sales, marketing & customer to enable growth. For this you need strong people kills, creativity, analytical skills, resilience, problem solving capabilities, and know how to get things done yourself, and through others. You can spot strategic and business opportunities and know how to tap into these. You have a winning mindset, have fun and ease in building internal and external relationships on various levels. Your daily passion is driving category growth on triple win level (customers, consumer and for Mars).
