DESCRIPTION:

As a Customer Outreach Officer specialising in outreach, you will be instrumental in increasing the visibility and understanding of Fairview products among key decision-makers in the construction industry. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively engage with Architects, Builders, Project Managers and other stakeholders to introduce Fairview’s products, highlight their unique value propositions, and create opportunities for our expert sales team.
Additionally, you will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a seamless transfer of opportunities to the Sales team when ready. Monitoring systems to identify potential projects and promptly responding to inbound enquiries will also be essential aspects of your role.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively engage with Architects, Builders, Project Managers and other stakeholders to introduce Fairview’s products and highlight their unique value propositions, aiming to create opportunities in the sales pipeline. You are not expected to close sales and, as such, you will not have a sales target.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring seamless transfer of opportunities to the Sales team when ready.
Regularly monitor systems (such as BCI and Estimate1) to identify potential projects aligned with Fairview products.
Promptly respond to inbound enquiries, provide information/samples, and gather project details to qualify opportunities and progress them down the pipeline.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with a focus on outreach, sales or business development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative strategies to raise product awareness.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Familiarity with CRM software, preferably HubSpot or Salesforce (not essential
