A123 Systems, LLC in Novi, Michigan is hiring a Customer Quality Engineer, US
The Customer Quality Engineer, US is responsible for the factory’s customer quality and customer service, including failure analysis and report of returned products, customer site problem response and resolution, internal corrective action implement, and more.
REQUIREMENTS AND MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in automotive, mechanical, electronics or electrochemistry
- 8D problem solving and understanding of OEM customers’ special requirements for after-sales service and quality.
- Module PACK: Familiar with the manufacturing process of soft PACK lithium batteries and related manufacturing processes of Module and PACK
- Familiar with IATF, APQP, VDA quality management tools
- Proficient in using excel to complete various data summary, analysis and chart making.
- Proficient in using PPT to complete various quality reports.
- Proficient in English and Chinese; listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Familiar with the management process and requirements of after-sale spare parts
- Systems thinking, results and problem solving-oriented.
- Be able to travel within US and China; Travel will be approximately 25%
Responsibilities:
- Planning and management of customer quality process, after-sales service process and after-sales mode
- Customer performance management and customer relationship maintenance
- Organization and coordination of major customer quality problems; root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures
- Arranging after-sales service personnel to quickly respond to customer on-site problem handling.
