Our client is a well-established Department within the ACT Government. Their team is dedicated to providing support and strengthening the broader community. They are committed to excellence as they strive to meet client outcomes and respond to individual needs.
The Department is currently seeking a dynamic and driven Customer Service Officer to work within their diverse team based in Dickson on a 3 week contract. This business unit is focused on Client Support and will require someone who is passionate about improving business performance and providing exceptional customer service.

THE JOB…..

Reporting through to the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Providing exceptional Customer Service over the phone, face to face and via email to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders seeking information, responding to general and complex enquiries.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and internal staff to achieve quality outcomes for the Business Unit.
  • Contributing to the improvement of processes and procedures, to ensure efficient and accurate responses.
  • Maintaining file and record management systems, ensuring accurate entry of information and documentation in line with policy and legislation.
  • Undertaking general administrative matters including processing invoices, monitoring expenditure, ordering office inventory and maintaining asset registers.
  • Support the unit with HR onboarding, including sending out induction information and managing the workflow process.
  • Drafting procedures, correspondence and reports relevant to the Business Unit requirements.
