Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing the satisfaction of customers as it pertains to all operational functions of Company. This position is highly detail oriented, and requires the ability to multi-task and work independently in addition to a team environment. By providing superior customer service, strong communications with our customers is required. This position is required to meet deadlines and works with timely demands and effectively manage multiple workloads. Customer service representatives are cross trained to help and be flexible. Flexibility and the desire to help others is essential to the success of this position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in prior customer service position
  • Order entry experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products

Responsibilities:

  • Input to NAV (ERP) of all incoming purchase orders from customers by email, fax, ITrade and SPS Commerce in a timely manner.
  • Provides warehouse staff, locally and 3PL, with required paperwork, and confirms daily orders, invoices and completed transport arrangements and other duties related to the job scope.
  • Advises customers and brokers of discrepancies and works to resolve issues with pricing, product codes and pack sizes, informs customers of expected delivery dates and changes, product shorts.
  • Follows up with Accounts Receivable Administrators regarding “overdue” and “exceeds credit limit” notes on customer files.
  • Provides prompt service to customers, brokers, and logistics suppliers by email, telephone, and interpersonally.
  • Fields all customer service issues, dispatches correspondence.
  • Communicates with in-house personnel, both verbally and electronically, including, but not limited to, Sales, Finance, Operations and Quality Assurance, on issues related to customer orders, fill rates, pricing and various requests.
  • General responsibilities include assisting Supervisor of Order entry/Customer service with supporting the general office administration function and ad hoc projects as assigned.
