Description:

Customer Service Representative
Make a difference as a Customer Service Representative.
Join the largest insurance group in Australia and New Zealand.
For over 165 years, CGU has partnered with Australian families and businesses. Part of Insurance Australia Group (known as IAG), we’re a leading commercial, rural and personal lines insurer and a top-three provider of workers compensation insurance.

ABOUT US

IAG is not only the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand, underwriting over $AUD13 billion of premium per annum, we’re also a tech and research facility, a hub for climate change experts and a centre of resilience design. We chat over coffee with customers, advocate for them in the corridors of Parliament and back them up in the community when life’s moments hit hardest.
You’ll know our brands - NRMA Insurance, CGU, WFI and AMI, NZI, and State Insurance to name a few. Together they turn our IAG purpose of making your world safer into action by helping, supporting ambitions and making insurance accessible.
At IAG you’re not just part of one brand, you’re part of a large purpose-led Trans-Tasman group dedicated to making your world a safer place.
We’re ready to grow your career, acknowledge every part of you, recognise your brilliance, lead you with purpose and help you live your own purpose through us.

Responsibilities:

We have multiple roles available for Customer Service Representatives of all levels (entry-level and experienced) to join our Workers Compensation team based in West Perth. This role also offers fantastic hybrid work arrangements to give you more flexibility. This consists of a mandatory two days per week in the office, with the remaining three being your choice of either working from home or in the office. On top of this, subsidised $10/day underground parking is available for the days you are in the office.
Your primary purpose responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of complex Workers Compensation claims with the aim to help injured workers’ recovery and return to work as quickly and safely as possible.
You’ll accurately determine liability on new and existing claims and establish strategic Case Management Plans in collaboration with the injured worker, their employer and other relevant stakeholders including (but not limited to) brokers, medical professionals and solicitors.
