The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our chemicals division (Major Hazard Facility) at Laverton North, Victoria. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to the customers and business team, through the provision of administrative and customer service functions.

As the Customer Service Officer, you will:

  • Answering inbound enquiries from customers, track and trace and ETA’s whilst providing and maintaining outstanding customer service at all times
  • Processing orders using PWMS and RAMCO via data entry (Current Management Systems)
  • General administrative functions including updating and maintaining a customer database
  • Communicating and coordinating with warehouse and transport as required
  • Liaising with customers regarding order status and providing updates as required
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a customer service centre position including high level data entry
  • Previous exposure to transport or warehouse industry highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Organisational, time management, communication, conflict resolution and customer service skills
