Mad Mex at Marketown Newcastle is opening soon, and we are on the lookout for energetic customer service superstars to join our team.
These roles are open to both JUNIORS and ADULTS looking for a fresh opportunity with a great employer. Candidates with some Hospitality / QSR / Retail experience will be viewed favourably. Full training in our systems and processes will be provided.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  At Mad Mex we serve Australia’s best Baja-style burritos, made to order using only the freshest produce, flavourful salsas & authentic Mexican spices, and slow-roasted & grilled meats. With over 70 restaurants across Australia, we’re driven by our passion for sharing the food and culture of Mexico with our customers every day.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• You will deliver amazing, authentic, and attentive customer service experiences.
• You will prepare delicious burritos, nachos, and tacos with care and pride.
• You will help us keep our restaurant safe, clean, and welcoming for our guests.
• You will support your teammates by acting with integrity, compassion, and respect.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Possibly have experience in either hospitality, retail, or QSR operations;
• Be excited about delivering awesome levels of customer service, restaurant presentation, and food quality:
• Possibly have experience with basic food handling;
• Understand the basics of food safety and hygiene;
• Have at least a medium level of computer literacy;
• Have high energy and initiative levels;
• Have a calm and friendly demeanor;
• Be both reliable and flexible to work across a range of shift days and times.
