Description:
Applications are invited for the above post to supervise a team of staff across our busy Customer Services desks within Residential Services.
Reporting to The Residences Administration Officer, the Customer Service Supervisor will take an active front facing role in our residential reception areas. You will be required to work across various receptions as required. Hours of work are Monday to Friday covering the hours between 8am 6pm, with some weekend working (as required). This is to ensure we provide excellent services for students, conference guests and to assist with university open days.
Residential Services offers accommodation for over 8600 students across 3 main residential sites, our diverse population includes those attending a course in preparation for university study, undergraduates and postgraduates from both the UK and other parts of the world. In addition, we offer a range of accommodation options during the summer vacation period for both students and conferences.
You will have proven staff supervisory skills, organisational skills, and demonstrable experience in customer service.
Sound written and verbal communication skills are essential attributes for this role, along with a good understanding of IT-based systems and an ability to develop and effectively manage administration procedures.
