Description:
- Salary range: $61 700 - $68 934 - $79 274 per annum, depending on experience and skills.
- Hours: This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, on a fully flexible roster including weekends.

Responsibilities:
SUMMARY OF KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use knowledge of the products and services that ASB offers to handle any customer enquiries or complaints.
- Receive and process over the counter banking transactions, including the receipt, and processing of banking transactions and reconciliation of cash along with processing of bulk transactions within branches.
- Maintain and service customers accounts including but limited to opening and closing of accounts and customer account maintenance
- Support the servicing, balancing, and operating of the branch automated technology.
- Look after the customer core banking needs at the branch, including explaining and recommending the core products and services ASB offers.
- Identify customers individual banking needs and offer specialist services and products or refer to appropriate ASB financial services team.
- Provide support for Personal Banker or Consultant, when required.
- Support customer service officers with processing branch transactions and balance and service the automated technology in the branch along with completing operational duties of the branch as required.
- Acquire new business through walk-ins and phone-ins, referrals or campaign generated leads, proactive referrals within the branch network or One Team referrals.
- Complete branch reports ensuring that I have knowledge of the audit requirements

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a frontline role in the banking environment.
- Formal sales courses or programmes, e.g., Unbeatable Conversations and Customer Ready workshop.
- A NZQF Level 4 or higher qualification in Business Management would be an added advantage.
- Strong product knowledge to be able to answer all types of customers enquires or refer specialised customer needs to the most convenient channel.
- A full understanding of the branch operation and audit requirements.
- Knowledge and skills to maintain Branch automated technology.
- Understanding of fundamental investments (including KiwiSaver) personal lending products and procedures
